From Organic Wine and Christmas Fairs to the 2018 UN Climate Conference in Poland 🇵🇱

As we attend the organic wines (ViniBio) and organic Christmas (Noël en bio) fairs, we wanted to give you an update on proceedings at the #COP24 (2018 UN Climate Change Conference in Katowice), where negotiations have finally come to an end.

Fortunately, some people are not content to wait around for the next edition before suggesting a new and more sustainable model for our societies!

On our behalf, our Co-president Vivien had the following to say:

The COP24 just ended at Katowice, and we saw that it took 3 years for the States to come to an agreement to eventually implement the Paris Agreement they had adopted… at the COP21.

Luckily, many people are decidedly more proactive from the very get-go when it comes to offering alternative solutions. As of today, the organic Christmas and ViniBio fairs are offering exhibitors the chance to show their wares. Producers in attendance include:

🐣 Poulehouse – eggs that are more biodiversity- and animal welfare-friendly;
☕️ Les Jardins de Gaia – fair-trade organic tea since 1994;
🍷 Château des Rochers – organic and biodynamic wine since 2002;
🌿 Cosmetisy – non-toxic cosmetic products that are both DIY and water efficient.

As we can see, there are plenty of solutions out there! And, as we say here at The Climat’Optimists, green actions every day can go a very long way! 🌿🌏☀️
