For the second year in a row, we decided to mark World Cleanup Day with a clean-up outing!
We started out at Paris’ Saint-Michel fountain, before proceeding up the eponymous boulevard and linking up with the ongoing Climate Strike march 👣
In just 30 minutes we were able to pick up a variety of detritus, ranging from pizza boxes and burger wrappers to leftover cans, forgotten plastic cups, and of course, the infamous cigarette butts we always seem to find in abundance… 481 cigarette butts to be exact! 🚮
Simply by collecting the latter, we were able to save 240,500 litres of water from contamination! 💧
So, always remember, green actions every day can go a very long way! 🤗🌿🌏☀️
