Climat’Optimists! 🌿🌏☀️

On 8 September of this year, we chose to rise to former French Minister Nicolas Hulot’s call to action.

We want to show that we can all strive to make a difference on a daily basis. We aim to prove that green actions every day can go a very long way.

Check out our mantra and ethos, presented below by Vivien, Co-President of Les Climat’Optimistes:

“Is there such a thing as a developed society that gets out there and marches onto the streets, clamouring for the preservation of biodiversity?”

It was with these very words that environmental activist Nicolas Hulot publicly pondered the most pressing issues of our time as he presented his ministerial resignation.

As far as we are concerned, our answer to his question is a resounding yes!

Yes, former Minister Hulot, there are a lot of people out there who wish to embody the transition to a more environmentally and socially conscious society in the here and now. Those who aim to do so through sustained actions on a daily basis.

And as you know yourself, every day, more and more people are exchanging ideas, aiming to convince others and adopting the kind of behaviour that we will all emulate in tomorrow’s world.

Today, we are in Paris, at the Global Climate March, in order to show that we are all mobilised for this cause and that we will not back down.

In the face of great scepticism, let me hereby say that we, #LesClimatOptimistes, aim to show that we can all undertake green actions every day that go a very long way! 🌿🌏☀️
