On 10 December, Thibaut, our Head of Communications, represented The Climat’Optimists at one of UNESCO’s Liaison Committee meetings, where candidates for the Liaison committee Presidency expressed their interests in being elected.
The Liaison committee promotes the dialogue between UNESCO’s 400 partner organizations. Our participation enables us to value young people who actively partake in efforts to fight climate change and protect biodiversity all year round. Moreover, the meeting was an opportunity to highlight the importance of a common intergenerational goal 🤗
Next week, we will represent youth at the International Conference of NGOs, 2020 edition. “Think Global, Act Local” will be the motto. Thanks to this collective cooperation we can show that YES, green actions everyday can go a very long way! 🌿🌏☀️
