From Organic Wine and Christmas Fairs to the 2018 UN Climate Conference in Poland 🇵🇱

As we attend the organic wines (ViniBio) and organic Christmas (Noël en bio) fairs, we wanted to give you an update on proceedings at the #COP24 (2018 UN Climate Change Conference in Katowice), where negotiations have finally come to an end.

Fortunately, some people are not content to wait around for the next edition before suggesting a new and more sustainable model for our societies!

Organic Wine fair: Thank you Château des Rochers !

As a third-generation family-owned business, the Château des Rochers vineyards provide quality organic wine that isn’t out of reach. Following the retirement of her father, Patricia took over the family’s business and decided to transform it into an organic wine-growing holding.

The vines of AOC-certified Côtes de Castillon are grown along the hillsides that surround Saint-Emilion, stretching from Belvès-de-Castillon right through to Saint-Philippe-d’Aiguille. National Conference of French Secondary Level Student Associations

From 3 until 5 December, the French Federation of Secondary Level Student Associations is holding its 4th conference at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

The associations that fall under its umbrella are secondary level bodies set up within a variety of different schools. Their goal is to promote student activism on societal issues, notably those relating to the European project, climate change and the fight against discrimination. Manon to Attend the National Conference of French Secondary Level Student Associations

Our Head of Translation Manon will act as interpreter at the 4th conference of French Secondary Level Student Associations, which will take place at the European Parliament in Strasbourg!

10th UNESCO International Forum of NGOs

On 26 and 27 November, UNESCO and the NGO-Unesco Liaison Committee organised in Moscow the 10th International Forum of NGOs, in partnership with the Russian Peace Foundation and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The theme of the 10th Forum was “Science as a Common Good of Humankind”. Participants considered how science could contribute to peace-making and progress in the various fields of food security, health, education, gender inequalities, and also water management and climate change.

Lauriane, our Head of Research, is a UNESCO nominee for the 10th International Forum of NGOs to be held in Moscow! 

Organised by UNESCO and the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee, in partnership with the Russian Peace Foundation and the Russian Academy of Sciences, the 10th International Forum of NGOs will allow participants to exchange on the role of science as common good of humankind.
